Controllers own the smoke role. Every kit in the class can cut sightlines — with spheres, walls, or clouds — so a team can cross open ground or take a site without being watched from every angle. Most compositions consider one controller mandatory, which makes the role a frequent fill assignment.

How the controller randomizer works

Press Start and an icon for every controller in the pool bounces around the arena; the first icon to hit the walls three times wins the spin. Every enabled agent has the same chance, and each spin is independent of the last. Edit Pool removes controllers that are not owned or not wanted, the pool persists in the browser between visits, and the share button encodes it as a link for the rest of the team. The role quick-filter is preset to controllers on this page and can be changed at any time.
